VPNGZ · Setup Guide
VPNGZ Client and Subscription Setup
Create an account, get your subscription, and import a route on your device. Follow the steps in order, then visit a site to confirm the connection works.
For your first setup, complete the full process on a device you use regularly, then configure any others. If you already have an account or plan, pick up at the relevant step. Protocol details and AI tool requirements are covered in the AI Acceleration Guide; this page focuses on getting started.
Account setup
Create an account and save your login details
Use the “Start Free” button below to open the VPNGZ account dashboard. On the account creation page, enter a username and password, then follow the prompts. No email address is required. You’ll use these credentials to sign in, view your subscription, and submit support tickets. Choose a password you don’t use on other sites and save it in a trusted password manager rather than relying on your browser to remember it.
If you already have an account, sign in through the dashboard instead of creating another one. After submitting the form, look for a success message and make sure you reach the account overview. If you see a message that your username is unavailable or your details don’t meet the requirements, update the relevant field. Don’t submit the form repeatedly before checking the result.
Creating an account doesn’t configure a route. Next, check your plan in the dashboard and get the matching subscription configuration. Keep this browser tab open if you can; you’ll return here to copy the subscription or start the client import. If you plan to switch devices, make sure your login details are saved first so you can get back into your account.
If you’ve forgotten your login details or can’t access the dashboard, see Account and Subscription FAQs. For support, use the ticket option in the dashboard when signed in. Never post your password in a public discussion.
Start FreePlans and orders
Choose a plan and check your order status
Open the plans section in your account dashboard and choose a monthly subscription or a one-time data package based on how often you’ll use the service. Monthly plans suit ongoing use: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of the calendar month. Choose a data allowance based on your usual browsing, video, and tool usage; a larger allowance doesn’t mean a faster route.
For less regular use, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data is available until used and never expires. Monthly subscriptions and data packages differ in billing and how you use the data, so compare the price, allowance, and reset rules together. Check the details on the Plans and Pricing page, then return to your account dashboard to choose.
After choosing a plan, check the plan name, amount, and billing method shown in the order, then follow the dashboard prompts to pay. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported; available options are shown on the payment page. After paying, return to the dashboard to check the order status and confirm the plan appears in your account overview. Closing the payment page doesn’t confirm that the plan is active.
If the status hasn’t updated after payment, refresh the order and account overview before doing anything else. Don’t create the same order again. If you still have questions, use a dashboard support ticket and include the order details and any on-screen message; never share your password or subscription link. VPNGZ offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Service for details and how to request one. If you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the updated details in your dashboard.
Choose this planImport your configuration
Get your subscription and add it to your client
Once your plan is active, open the account overview and find the section for subscriptions, copying links, or client imports. A subscription link isn’t a regular website address; it lets your client retrieve route configuration. The available routes appear in the client after it reads the link. Pasting the VPNGZ website address into the client usually won’t load a working configuration.
First, check whether the dashboard has an import button for your client. If it does, open or install the client, then start the import from the dashboard. Your browser may ask permission to open an external app; check the app name before continuing. If the client doesn’t open automatically, or you’re setting up another device, copy the subscription link and paste it into the client’s subscription or remote configuration field.
Use the copy button in the dashboard to avoid missing part of the link when selecting it manually. Paste the full subscription link without changing its parameters. Don’t enter your account password in the subscription URL field. The example below shows the format only; it’s a dummy value and won’t connect:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
Your subscription link may contain account-specific access credentials, so keep it as secure as a password. Don’t post it in public groups, shared notes, or screenshots, and don’t paste it into online conversion tools from unknown sources. If you need help, describe what happened—for example, “update failed” or “the list is empty”—and hide the full link in any screenshots. If the link is exposed, look in the dashboard for an option to reset your subscription. If you can’t find one, submit a support ticket.
Once you have the link, continue to the section for your device. You don’t need to investigate protocol settings, edit configuration files manually, or add extra tools yet. First, import the standard configuration from the dashboard in full.

Import the client for your device
Open the dashboard’s client downloads section and choose your device’s platform. You can get the Android, Windows, macOS, or Linux client without purchasing a plan. To get a working subscription and connect to a route, your account must have an active plan. Installing the client, importing a subscription, and connecting are separate steps; after installation, continue with the configuration import.
Windows: Desktop subscription client
Choose the Windows client in the dashboard, download and install it as instructed, then open the app. Use a desktop client recommended by the dashboard that supports subscription configurations. A browser extension’s address field is not a subscription import field. Look for an option such as “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or “Profiles,” then choose the feature for adding or importing a link or remote configuration. Labels vary, so look for the function that accepts a subscription URL.
Return to the dashboard and use the import option for your client, or paste the copied subscription link into its remote configuration window and save it. Update the configuration and make sure the list is no longer empty, then select it as the active configuration. Follow the dashboard instructions to enable the system proxy or required connection mode. If Windows asks for network permission, check that the app is the client you just downloaded before allowing it. Keep the default rules for now, continue to connection testing, and don’t run another proxy app at the same time.
macOS: Remote configuration and system permissions
Get the macOS desktop client from the dashboard, install and launch it, then look for configuration or subscription management. Clients that support remote configuration can often receive an import request from the dashboard, or you can add the subscription link manually. After an automatic import, check the client to make sure the configuration is saved and selected; a browser message saying the request was sent isn’t enough.
If macOS asks you to allow a network configuration or enter local authorization details, check the app name and source before following the system prompts. System authorization on your Mac is separate from your VPNGZ account login; don’t enter one password in place of the other. After importing, update the configuration and check that the route names appear. If the client shows only an older configuration, select the one you just imported. Don’t disable macOS security features to import a configuration; follow the dashboard instructions if installation fails.
Android: Subscription management and VPN permissions
Choose the Android client in the dashboard, install it by following your device’s prompts, and open it. Use a client that supports subscription links, then choose the option to import from a URL under “Configuration,” “Subscription management,” or “Add configuration.” Paste the link copied from your account overview, save it, and update the configuration. If the dashboard has a direct import button, you can also return to the browser and use it after installing the client.
After updating the configuration, select it and tap Connect. The first time Android establishes a VPN connection, it will ask for system permission. Check the app before allowing it to handle the relevant network requests. Once connected, switch back to your browser and test the connection; the status icon alone doesn’t confirm that a site is using the route. If the connection drops when the screen locks, check the app’s battery and background activity settings and allow background activity if needed. There’s no need to change every power-saving setting upfront.
iOS: Dashboard access and system connection permission
On your iPhone or iPad, sign in to the dashboard and open the client downloads section to view the iOS instructions. Get the iOS client through the App Store link provided in the dashboard. The relevant link is available when your plan is active and hasn’t expired; if your account is in a different state, follow the dashboard prompts to resolve it first. Store region and account requirements may affect access. If the link won’t open or the app isn’t available, read the dashboard instructions rather than using a configuration profile from an unknown source.
After installing an iOS client that supports subscriptions, open it and return to the dashboard to select the matching import option. Alternatively, add the remote URL from the client’s subscription or configuration screen. Save and update the configuration, select it, then follow the system prompts to allow the VPN configuration and connect. Permission only means iOS allows the client to establish a connection; test access to your destination in the next step. If no routes appear after importing, check the subscription update message instead of repeatedly deleting the system configuration.
From configuration to access
Connect and test access
Return to the client and make sure the active configuration is the VPNGZ subscription you just imported and that the route list has updated. Choose an exit region and connect, or enable the system proxy. Keep the recommended rules mode for your first session. Rules may send only matching requests through the selected route, so local websites may still connect directly; that doesn’t mean the configuration failed. Traffic routing depends on the active configuration, so don’t assume all traffic follows the same path based only on the client’s switch color.
After connecting, open your browser and visit an international site you want to use. Check that the page loads fully, then review the client’s connection logs to confirm the destination domain used the expected route or policy group. If the client shows exit details, check that they match the region you selected. A webpage loading successfully confirms only that visit; AI tools and streaming platforms may have their own regional, account, and service requirements. Don’t assume this means every service will work.
If you can’t access a site, identify where the problem occurs. If the subscription won’t update, return to the dashboard and check your plan and link. If the route list is populated but the connection won’t start, try another route. If the client says it’s connected but a particular app isn’t working, check whether that app follows the system proxy and current routing rules. Change one setting at a time and revisit the same page after each change so you can tell what made a difference.
Browser cache, existing connections, or another proxy app can also affect your test. Close and reopen the destination page, and pause other similar clients to avoid multiple apps handling the same network requests. If only one service shows an error, don’t reset every configuration straight away. Note the error message, platform, and route name, then see Connection and Troubleshooting FAQs for relevant steps.
Once the connection is verified, keep the working configuration. To get route updates, update the subscription rather than pasting the link again. To change regions, select another route in the client and retest the service you want to use. For everyday connection issues, check the help center. For ChatGPT, Cursor, and other tools, including web sign-in, streaming responses, or development environment setup, read the AI Acceleration Guide. There’s no need to change advanced settings during your first setup.
If you still can’t connect, open a support ticket in the account dashboard and include your operating system, client, error message, and the steps you’ve tried. Include only the necessary parts of any screenshots, and hide account details and the subscription link so support can troubleshoot the issue safely.
